Ellen graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Nursing and is currently employed as a OB Nurse at Olympic Memorial Hospital.
Stephen graduated from Northwest College with a BA in Pastoral Ministries. After being a youth pastor at Stanfield and Sequim Assemblies, he pioneered Quilcene Assembly, spending 5 years there. He then pastored Cathlamet Assembly for 5 years. Stephen and Ellen returned to the Olympic Peninsula and was on part time staff at Lighthouse Christian Center for 6 years as the Evangelism and Outreach Pastors. They returned to Quilcene Assembly for 7 years until returning to Lighthouse in November of 2010
